Relating to instructors at institutions of higher education.

Abstract

Requires each community college and public university to pay part-time faculty member teaching course offered for academic credit at least 75 percent of salary that would be paid to full-time faculty member with identical levels of education and experience during 2022-2023 academic year and at least 85 percent of salary that would be paid to full-time faculty member with identical levels of education and experience every academic year thereafter. Requires each community college and public university to report annually to Higher Education Coordinating Commission on compliance with part-time faculty salary requirement. Requires commission to report annually to Legislative Assembly on compliance with part-time faculty salary requirement by each community college and public university.
